About
I'm a software engineer and solo traveler from Puerto Rico interested in how we can connect easier. I'm really into completing sidequests (having new experiences) and connecting with different people across different cultures.
I have over 6 years of experience working on websites and web applications, full stack side. Currently I am doing freelancing and indie hacking while doing some travel related content on my Instagram and Youtube.
Other than this, other things I like include music, food, coffee and cocktails.
I'm always open for new and interesting projects. If you have something interesting in mind, send me a message!
Some cool things about me:
- Worked at Microsoft as a software engineer for the Localization team, working on microservices which orchestrated localizing Microsoft products and content to different locales in an automated fashion.
- I know three languages: English, Spanish and Indonesian. The latter I'm still getting better at it. My goal is to learn all of the United Nations languages: English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Mandarin and Russian.
- Took a sabbatical year in 2025 to solo travel the world (Southeast Asia and Europe to be exact).
- Completed the requirements to get my open water certification in Koh Tao, Thailand. Definitely a fun time and I am really debating if to continue advancing my knowledge and experience here.
- Completed the Camino de Santiago from Porto, Portugal all the way to Santiago de Compostela, Spain in 12 days. Seriously, anyone that has the time to try this pilgrimage, please do!
- Worked as a solo front-end developer at a startup in Puerto Rico for a month and a half straight for a drone customization company. It was a long time ago and they are now defunct, but it was one of my most intense and memorable experiences.
